Event Details

Join us for an evening of art, history, and mystery with local author Erik Richter as he discusses his new novel The Portrait of Eloise Leclair.

The Portrait of Eloise Leclair is a historical mystery inspired by true events. It follows art restorer Amelia Beckett as she uncovers a hidden wartime legacy through a mysterious heirloom that lands in her Paris studio. The dual-timeline story bridges Nazi-occupied France with the modern art world, blending art, history, love, and suspense.

Erik's presentation will cover his writing background, the origin story and inspiration for the book, the historical research process, and his overall writing and publishing journey. There will be an interactive game for attendees.
