Preserve meaningful conversations, precious memories, family history, and more through this oral history project.  Have a conversation with a friend or loved one recorded free of charge with our professional recording equipment.  You and your conversation partner will obtain free copies of your recording and can choose to share (or not share) your recording in our public database of oral history interviews.

This audio recording can cover whatever topics you and your conversation partner wish to discuss.  In the past, participants have used these recordings to:

  • Preserve the life stories of beloved family members

  • Do a family interview with children and capture an audio snapshot of a family at a particular life stage

  • Share and preserve family history and genealogy research for future generations

  • Interview an older individual about the history of their community or personal memories of decades past

  • Create a unique memory with a close friend or loved one

  • And more!
